Home-Retreat

Make your home into a wellness retreat

Why not? Who ever said you need to go to the spa or wellness center to get the peace, tranquility and recovery your mind and body needs.

There is really only three parts to this

1 create the environment that will harbor your wellness needs

2 establish your rituals to use this and find the peace around you

3 Have someone perform fung shui, clear out negative energy.

Here are some of the needs

Clean and uncluttered space

Quiet and smelling right and relaxing light

Visual and auditory Accessories

Rituals and treatments

Meditation, silence, tai chi,

Massage, sound therapy, color therapy, energy work and anything else

Clearing: static energy blocks natural flow. It is best to have a specialist advise on various aspects and to clear the room out. They can give you additional advice on treatments and therapist that might serve you.

Keep the room sacred only for what it is designed to do.

The benefits:

  1. Stress relief.

  2. Feeling of calmness, centeredness, optimism

  3. Feeling and looking rejuvenated, with more energy and vitality

  4. Improved immune, and balancing of endocrine and cardiac functions

  5. Experience greater vitality and look younger than your age.

  6. Improved and balanced mood

  7. Improved thinking, creativity and deeper insights and a sense of clarity

  8. Personal alignment

Make this into a regular practice – best once a week – if not that at least take a clear break from all responsibilities one half day during the week. Your mind and body does require this type of respite. You will find much higher levels of fulfillment, happiness and success by giving your self this regular break.

In your schedule plan for pampering including wraps, massage, bubble bath, Epson bath, colonic, meditation, healing modality. Ideally it is an entire day , half the day will still do wonders.

Have an intention for your time of retreat. Journal what you wish to accomplish or feel. Write down any blocks or negative energy you wish to release.

Make a habit or removing items, people or emotions from your life. Exclude them on purpose for they no longer serve you. Give all of them your gratitude for being part of your life for the time you needed them and now release them from that responsibility. Thankful for all the benefits and learnings and letting them know that their time is up. To stay any longer would also be a disservice to them as well as yourself. forgive yourself or them for any failures.

Notice any of the disturbances throughout the body – aches, pains, itches, feeling of weakness, or other types of irritation including lightheadedness, nausea or other bodily irregularities. All of this is a signal for you to stop and begin a process of healing and rejuvenation through retreat.
